What to expect from the first assessment?

The first session will be an opportunity to explore the process of therapy. This is also an opportunity for you to ask me any questions. We will design the best interventions that will suit your needs and goals for therapy.

What is your therapeutic approach?

I use various strategies depending on your needs. I use Brainspotting, EMDR, Ego State Therapy, CBT, DBT, Mindfullness approaches and other trauma-based approaches.

Do you offer supports for immigrants and refugees?

Yes. I have extensive experience working in mental health with diverse populations. Acculturative stress plays a major role in adaptation and identity processes. I am a Certified Trauma Specialist and I use various trauma -based interventions to deal with the complex issues they face.

Do you offer in-person/virtual sessions?

At this time, I offer virtual sessions only. Online therapy can serve a larger population and, especially, it is the most convenient for busy professionals. Our sessions will be conducted over zoom. I will send you a link prior to our first session. This is your permanent link for all future sessions.

What is an intensive?

An intensive is an accelarated therapy session that spans over a few hours a day lasting a day, two, or three days. It will allow you to deal with your trauma and issues in a condensed session.

What to expect from an intensive session?

Intensive sessions are sessions that are designed to deal with the cumulative trauma and issues that you have accumulated over the years in a short period of time, depending on your goals for therapy and vision for your future.

Will the intensive run for 4-5 hours straight?

No. We will take breaks. You will slowly and mindfully process your experiences without being rushed. You will slowly release your trauma.

How do I choose the right package for me?

First, we will have a consult and we will discuss your goals and what you would like to accomplish.

What kind of packages do you have?

My intensives run from 4-5 hours per day, either single half day, or two-half days or an immersive intensive package spanning from Friday - Sunday, 9:00 am- 4 p.m., again with breaks and a lunch break for each day.

What do I need for the intensive?

We will discuss this in the consult, but you have to have a pair of earbuds to process with music.
